Tony Allain is a masterful pastel artist and his website is well worth a browse. One of my 2026 goals is to attend one of his in person workshops.
There are a small number of videos on his YouTube channel but if you search for his name you can often find demonstration videos he has done for various international pastel societies.
On his website you can view his recommended materials list which offers some great advice as you start to build a collection of pastels and surfaces.
