What do we mean by Pastels?
What I love about pastels is that it’s drawing and painting combined in one; with intense colours closer to the raw pigment than other media.
The group define pastels as including; soft pastels, hard pastels, pan pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, graphite, crayons, any pencils and stick form media. Many of us are mixed-media artists and combine pastels with other media; for example, watercolours.

I find looking at my soft pastel boxes very satisfying. It contains a mix of brands and colours.
